Adam's 1st birthday

Back in the 11 the old BSFAM (Katie) asked if it was okay to pass my digits on to her cousin who was in need of some party printables.  Of course I said yes and had a phone date with Angela not too long after.

The super cute Goins Family
One word, two syllables: pray-shus.  She, her husband and her sweet little soon-to-be one year old Adam had just moved to Mississippi from right here in the AL!  I hate that we JUST missed them because I feel pretty strongly that we would have been BFFs.  Angela was determined to forgo the typical Elmo/Mickey themed parties saying she would have to endure many, many of those party in a box nightmares in years to come and she wanted his 1st birthday to be cute!  Girl after my own heart!  Her idea?  Red Ryder Wagons!!

Water bottle labels, laminated because she's one smart mama!

The Setup: Banner, Cake Topper, Cupcake Toppers, Keep Calm sign and
scrap paper that Angela turned into pendants for Adam's high chair!

Happy Birthday Sweet Little Man!!
Thanks again Angela, it was a pleasure to work with you!!

**Updated 3/8/12**
Y'all, please join me in prayer for sweet Angela who lost her daddy...I can't even imagine.

Millie

As a project for the BSFAM, I got to do an ABC piece for one of her dearest friends Catherine...well really for Catherine's sweet baby girl Millie.  I can't even talk about how adorable Catherine, her husband Brent and sweet baby Millie are...I mean honestly:

Anyhoodle, BSFAM (Katie), requested some combination of a sage-y green and pink since those were to be Millie's "signature culas" (10 pts if you name that movie).  We did just that and added some flair to represent the couples shared love of running, a family history with State Farm, ties to UGA and Ohio as well as their sweet pupper (the letter M).

As always, thanks to BSFAM for letting me be a part of this piece!

Bennett's Birthday Bash

A few months ago, my BSFAM (blonde sister from another mister) Katie, asked if I could help her out with her son Bennett's 1st birthday party.  I heart this kid and his parents more than life so of course I said yes.  I mean really, look at them...aren't they toats adorbs (oh no she didn't, oh yes...I did):

Anyhoodle, like I said, B-man was turning 1 and Katie had plans for a golf themed bash. She had a pretty distinct vision in mind including argyle, golf carts and clubs and mayhaps a chevron pattern.  So we went to work.  First the invite to set the tone of the par-tee:

Food tents and scrap paper that crafty Katie used as sandwich wraps and utensil ties:

Cupcake Toppers in 3 different patterns:

Favor Tags (mini golf club sets for the kiddos because, did I mention? She's adorable):

Banner:

Water Bottle Labels:

Keep Calm, Golf On propped up underneath every good southern hostess' trick to keepin' the men-folk happy:

That's pretty much all the printables.  I should mention that Katie is definitely gifted with the party planning gene which made B's party ah-mazing;  I simply flexed a little graphic skillz muscle.  Thanks again Katie for letting me be apart of Bennett's birthday, I had so much fun!!

Our recent move to the B-ham prevented me from attending this bash so all pics are courtesy of BSFAM.
